We're going to build words today — and you're going to be really good at this.
Here's how it works. You're going to listen to a word, find the sounds hiding inside it, and pull the letters into place — one sound at a time.
Then we're going to read it together. First, we'll tap each sound — then we'll slide them all together into the whole word. That's the magic part. Then you're going to tell your teacher how to write the word by saying the sounds.
And at the end, you're going to write it yourself while saying the sounds as you write the letters.
